Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris: the first Vinexposium event to make a commitment to carbon neutrality

Since 2022, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris – like all Vinexposium events – has made a pledge to achieve a meaningful and ambitious objective – carbon neutrality by 2050.

REDUCING OUR CARBON EMISSIONS

In 2023, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris was the first Vinexposium event to measure and take action to reduce its carbon emissions based on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) performance indicators designed to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.

INITIAL MEASURES

These measures involve all sources of emissions:
• Return transport of exhibitors / visitors / staff to the event
• Shipping the equipment and consumables used
• Facility equipment and lay-outs
• Energy (heat, cold and electricity) used at the event
• Catering / accommodation during hosting phases (assembly/exhibition/dismantling)
• Promotional items
• Waste produced at the event

When the event closed, we conducted a major consultation of our customers (exhibitors and visitors), our service providers and partners so that we could jointly carry out the first carbon audit of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris.
